Military Cooperation with Allies

        The Royal Thai Navy implements its policies to strengthen military cooperation with neighbouring countries and allies on both bilateral and multilateral basis. Each year, the Royal Thai Navy participates in various events with allied navies such as meetings, exchange of senior officer visit, combined naval exercises, joint naval patrols, etc. These activities can be grouped under following headings

 

Combined exercises
                - CARAT(Cooperative Afloat Readiness and Training Exercise, SEA EAGAL, UNDERSEAL,NINEX 9 MINE EXERCISES)
                - SING SIAM with the Republic of Singapore Navy
 
Joint Patrols
                - A Joint patrols with the Royal Malaysian Navy
                - A Joint patrols with the Vietnam People's Navy
                - A Joint patrols with the Indian Navy
